Our leadership team is entirely made up of volunteers who enjoy running meetings and other activities!  All adult leaders have training and a DBS check, and there is always at least one adult present who is first aid qualified.

The three sections all have their own leader team who plan and run the weekly meetings as well as extra activities and camps.

Liz (Dragonfly) is the Beaver Leader with Assistant Beaver Leaders Rosie and Sim.

(Vacant) is the Cub Leader with Assistant Cub Leaders: Fern (Mao), Phil (Shere Khan), Shaun and Gill (Mum).

Zeke is the Scout Leader with Assistant Scout Leader Jay and Sectional Assistant Adam.

All three sections also have Young Leaders attached to them whose help is invaluable. They are all Explorer Scouts and part of Oak Eagle Unit.

Additionally we have a very active committee working behind the scenes fundraising and managing the Group. Without their support and efforts we would not be able to manage many of the activities which are often subsidised by the fundraising.

If you would like the opportunity to do something you’d never thought of doing, while having lots of fun and giving back to the community at the same time, please get in touch – we can always do with more leaders, committee members or people willing to lend a small amount of time once in a while to help fund raise, maintain buildings plus lots more!
