We’re all back from a great weekend spent with friends, wood collecting, firelighting, cooking, wide games and campfire entertainment. We had meatballs in the dutch oven and roasted chicken, stuffing and mediterranean vegetables on the fire. We learned how to use the ghillie kettle, and used the axes and saws on the massive tree that Mike found, and it took us all to carry back to the camps as it was so big.

‘We made fires and it was fun. It was entertaining exploring the landscape when Aimee fell in the bog up to her waist! We had to go out in the woods and look for a watermelon. We searched the campsite for it then Mae found it. The leaders seemed to think a watermelon is a dinosaur egg! Then Neha came back and brought us chicken popcorn.

Everyone went out to play in the forest. Josh found a giant pencil then we done pencilympics’
